Freight Shipping

Many of the items we sell at Archic Furniture are too big and/or too heavy to fight in a normal postal carrier vehicle.

These big/heavy items will be shipped via a freight carrier.  We reserve the right to choose which freight carrier delivers your shipment.

Freight shipments are dropped off at your curb.  The driver is not expected to take your items inside, to the backyard, etc.  Plan on having helpers present to move heavy/bulky items if you are unable to move the items yourself.

Freight shipping is more complicated than a regular postal carrier delivery, in large part due to the heavy and bulky nature of the items being shipped.  Delays are possible that are out of our control.  We do not guarantee delivery times.

Lead Times

Orders received on Monday-Friday are processed same day.  Orders received on Saturday or Sunday are processed the next business day, which is usually the following Monday.

In-stock orders typically ship within 2-3 business days after processing.  Backordered products might require additional business days before shipping.

We do our best to indicate accurate lead times on our website.  However, the lead times and estimates stated on our website are not guaranteed.

Order Confirmation:

As soon as you place your order, you will receive an order confirmation e-mail.  This means that we have received your order in our system and pre-authorized your credit card for the purchase.  As soon as we receive your order, we automatically reach out to our suppliers to confirm that it is in stock and available for immediate shipment.  If your item is on backorder or unavailable, we will void the pre-authorization and reach out to you via e-mail.  If your item(s) are available for immediate shipment (within 5 business days), we will process the charges and submit the order for shipment.

Order Shipment:

If your order is in stock and we process the charges to your credit card, it will ship within five business days from the date of your order.  We will send you tracking information within 24 hours of your order leaving the warehouse to the e-mail address you provided when checking out.  If you do not receive tracking information from us within six business days of your order, feel free to follow up with us at support@archicfurniture.com.

No Shipping outside the USA. (Some exceptions apply - if the website permits you to check out and enter your shipping address, you will receive your order. Some products in particular are available in Canada). 

Changing Address

If the order has processed or shipped and you'd like to change your address, we will do our best to accommodate for this change. Please expect delays for all address changes. However, if there are any additional charges from our freight companies because of this change, this will be paid by the customer. No Exceptions Apply.

Shipping Times

All shipping times are estimates and should not be taken as a guarantee. We make sure our vendors know of new orders to get orders shipped out as soon as possible. With that being said, if a customer decides to cancel an order due to a shipment not arriving in the estimated time frame, customer is responsible for all associated shipping charges, fees, warehouse storage costs, and any other fees associated with the order. Any customer that files a chargeback for delays in shipping will be held criminally liable for theft. No Exceptions Apply.

Not Accepting Delivery On The Given Time

Customers that arrange a delivery but do NOT show up to accept the delivery, carriers charge 50% of the freight amount for re-delivery attempts. Customer is liable for all charges and expenses due to re-delivery attempts.

How To Prepare For Delivery
Please inspect the packaging of your item(s) when they arrive, if you notice any damage, you MUST make note of it when signing for delivery.

If you do not note the damage at the time of delivery and signing, we may not be able to assist you in getting an replacement.

If your item(s) do arrived damaged please send photos of damage, box and SKU, along with a brief description of the damage to support@archicfurniture.com and we will process an insurance claim on your behalf.

Photos and videos must be sent for freight damage within 24 hours of arrival or the freight damage claim will not be valid. Any punctures, or visible signs of exterior damage must be reported within 24 hours.

Failure to report damages will result in denial of returns. No exceptions apply.

Damaged Items

It is your responsibility to inspect products that are delivered to you to determine if your items have any damage or defects.  You MUST notify us via email of damage or defects within 5 business days of accepting delivery.  There are NO EXCEPTIONS.

If you notify us of damage or defects within 5 business days of delivery:

  • Email us at support@archicfurniture.com to report the damage.  If you call us we will ask for you to send an email for documentation purposes.
  • We will offer free replacement parts, a discount to keep the item as is, or allow a refund/replacement.
  • We are an online only dealer and are unable to perform or coordinate repairs for damaged items.
  • Your items cannot be used in any way to be eligible for replacement parts, a discount, or a refund/full replacement.
  • If you choose to keep the item for a discount or to accept replacement parts, you have 3 business days to accept or reject the offer.  You still cannot use your items during this time.
  • Keep packaging, box, and items in case the item needs to be inspected by the freight carrier.

If you don't notify us of damage via email within 5 business days:

  • We will not offer any refunds, free replacement parts, discounts, or exchanges under any circumstances.  After 5 business days, we are outside of our time window to file claims with the freight carrier or manufacturer.
  • We can sell you replacement parts for repair.

Please note, some of our products may arrive with residue on them, which is a byproduct of the manufacturing process. Archic Furniture is not responsible for the costs associated with cleaning or removing manufacturing residue from delivered products.

Please note, if you cannot provide photos of the damage, box, and SKU, along with a brief description of the damage in 5 business days, all replacements, refunds, and discounts are not valid, as we cannot file a freight claim after that.

Missing Items

Missing items that are printed on the delivery receipt must be reported to us within 5 business days of receiving your order by contacting our customer service team (support@archicfurniture.com).

Please note you must mark the delivery receipt "missing" and notify the truck driver of the short shipment before signing the receipt.

In the event of missing items, please allow a few extra business days for the carrier to locate the missing items.  If we are unable to locate the missing items, we will ship you a replacement free of cost.

We reserve the right to reject any claim for missing items if the claim is not reported to us within 5 business days of delivery.

We are not responsible for any costs associated with delays in your project due to missing items in your shipment.  We strongly advise for you to not schedule any contractors until your items have been received and fully inspected.

Stolen Packages For Postal Deliveries (FedEx or UPS)

We are not responsible for stolen packages.  If your shipment is marked as "delivered" by the postal carrier, you must file a claim with the postal carrier.

Shipping Options

Free Shipping applies for all products above $199. Anything under will be $19.95 for shipping.

Our base "Curb-side" Pickup shipping is always completely free! Our Free Shipping options is always defaulted to Curb-side delivery. This option usually takes between 5-15 days to arrive at your doorstep, after you have submitted your order. There are other options available, however. We also offer.

  • Threshold Shipping: This involves the item being brought onto your porch, or into a sheltered/garage area. 
  • Threshold Shipping + Assembly: This involves the item being brought onto your porch, or into a sheltered/garage area. Next, please contact us to arrange a technician for assembly of your furniture. Discarding of Packaging is not Included. 
  • White Glove Delivery - this includes the item being brought into your room of choice, any minor assembly, and all boxes and packaging removed from your house!
