Architrave is historically inspired, reinventing the strong lines and classic symmetry of Neoclassical style from the Louis XVI period in France. This trendsetting 18th-century style is perfectly reimagined as a new “casual classic,” dressed down in materials to evoke a more softened and livable feeling to suit modern taste. Pine solids and veneers are wire brushed and hand glazed in an almond tone with softened corners and worn details, finished with the delicate patina of oil rubbed bronze hardware.
The final result is a vintage look and feel with a casual, softened aesthetic that goes with multitudes of décor options. Historical form meets contemporary function in this elegant collection.
The generously proportioned Architrave Buffet measures 84 inches long, including two drawers and two cabinets with adjustable shelves. As a surprising and delightful detail, the sides include cleverly concealed cabinets that offer three-bottle wine storage each. The top is made of honed black stone, and cabinet and drawer fronts are accented with traditional paneling and fluted column motifs, finished with the delicate patina of oil rubbed bronze ring pulls.

While we strive to replicate each finish to a standard, each piece will be truly unique due to the individual attention each order receives. This is a result of the varying application techniques that are hand crafted. Other variations in wood such as species, grain and color have their own impact of the final look of your finished frame. Because the finishing process is completed on demand, it is preferable to finish at the same time to match a finish between pieces. Striping or accenting is available on certain items. This is a very labor-intensive manual process and the look will vary from piece to piece.
