Short answer: This collection lists 17 Night and Day Furniture futons: 16 wooden futon frames in full and queen sizes, and the Cinnamon twin over full futon bunk bed. Frames are listed in rubberwood on most pages, with Black Walnut, Cherry, Chocolate and Natural finishes on most models. The Winchester, Trinity and Eureka pages say the mattress is not included.

Dimensions below are as listed on each product page (height x width x depth, in inches). Every frame lists the same height: 34 7/8 inches for the full and 37 1/8 for the queen.

The Winchester page says Night and Day lists rolling storage drawers as an optional accessory. The Trinity, Eureka and Winchester pages state that the mattresses and covers shown in the photos are for display of the frame only.

Futon bunk bed

The Cinnamon Twin/Futon Bunk Bed has a twin bed above and a full size futon below that converts between sofa and bed. It lists 68 inches high, 80 inches wide and 42 inches deep, in Cherry, Chocolate, Natural, Stonewash or White, with an add-drawers option.

Frequently asked questions

What size futon frames are available?
The 16 frames here come in full and queen. Night and Day also makes a chair size, which is not listed in this collection.

Does a futon frame come with a mattress?
No. The Winchester, Trinity and Eureka pages say the mattresses and covers in the photos are for display of the frame only.

What finishes do the wood futon frames come in?
Most are Black Walnut, Cherry, Chocolate and Natural. Kingston has no Black Walnut, Fuji is Cherry or Chocolate, and Key West is white.

Can I add storage to a futon frame?
The Winchester, Trinity and Eureka pages list rolling storage drawers as an optional accessory, and the Cinnamon bunk has an add-drawers option.

What is the difference between full and queen futon frames?
On every frame here the queen lists a wider, deeper and taller frame than the full; for example, the Winchester queen lists 87 inches wide, 58 deep and 37 1/8 high against 81, 55 and 34 7/8 for the full.

Night and Day Furniture Queen Murphy Cabinet Bed Cube

It’s a winner!

After shopping in furniture stores and online searches for a Murphy cabinet bed, I happened upon this one. The dimensions fit our space and the style is neutral enough to blend well with other furniture. We chose the cherry finish which is really lovely, The ratings provided by other shoppers were really helpful, and at several suggestions decided to also order the Memory foam mattress topper from this site.
Communication from the company was excellent as we planned for the arrival. My husband and I (both age 75) were able to easily assemble by following the video instructions which included unloading the freight parcel and moving it into the house. Allow 2+ hours start to finish. It’s a winner!
