Furniture Repair

Even the best-made furniture needs a little care over time. If something you bought from Archic Furniture needs a repair, here’s how to get it fixed — whether it’s covered by a protection plan, still under warranty, or you’re on your own and just need a trusted repair pro.

1. Check What Coverage You Have

Bought the SureBright Protection Plan?

If you added a Product Warranty powered by SureBright at checkout, your repair (or replacement) is already covered. File a claim in minutes:

Have your order number and a couple of photos of the damage ready. Most claims are reviewed within 24–48 hours.

Still Within the Manufacturer’s Warranty?

No protection plan, but your item is new or the damage looks like a manufacturing defect? Reach out to us first. We’ll look up your order and work directly with the manufacturer on your behalf.

Phone hours: Monday – Friday, 9AM – 9PM EST.

2. Warranty Expired? Here’s Who Can Help

If your coverage has run out, a professional repair technician can usually get your furniture looking — and working — like new again.

Furniture Medic

furnituremedic.com

One of the largest furniture repair and restoration networks in the country, with technicians serving most major U.S. metro areas. They handle everything from scratches and water rings to structural repairs, often on-site in your home. Use their location finder to find the technician closest to you.

A Local Upholsterer or Handyman

For smaller fixes — a loose leg, a torn seam, a sticky drawer — a local upholsterer or handyman can often do the job for less. Search “furniture repair near me” or check a site like Angi or Thumbtack to find someone highly rated in your area.

Tips to Avoid Repairs in the First Place

  • Wood furniture: Dust with a soft, dry cloth. Keep pieces out of direct sunlight and away from heating vents — both dry out and crack wood over time.
  • Upholstery and fabric: Vacuum regularly and blot spills right away instead of rubbing. Check the care tag before using any cleaner.
  • Hardware: Every few months, check that screws, bolts, and drawer glides are snug. Loose hardware is the most common cause of wobbly furniture.
