How an Arason cabinet bed works

  • The cabinet is free-standing, so it does not bolt to the wall or floor.
  • A custom 6-inch tri-fold mattress is stored inside; the storage drawer pulls out to form the bed base and the front panel folds down.
  • Most listings state a 500 lb weight rating, a storage drawer for pillows and blankets, and a USB and outlet port on the cabinet.
  • The top is a usable surface for decor, photos or everyday essentials when the bed is closed.

Which Arason style?

  • Need a Full size: the Coffee/Espresso and Madrid models list both Full and Queen.
  • White or light finishes: Cottage White, Madrid (brushed white), Key West (whitewash) and Bridger (light oak).
  • Darker or warmer wood tones: Coffee/Espresso, Pekoe and Verona.
  • Color choices on one model: Brussels lists White, Ash and Charcoal; Essex lists White, Ash and Black.

Super Topper

I decided that a mattress topper might be what takes our cabinet bed to the next level. Indeed it does.
Our houseguests this week report that it is extremely comfortable. Definitely worth this upgrade.

It’s a winner!

After shopping in furniture stores and online searches for a Murphy cabinet bed, I happened upon this one. The dimensions fit our space and the style is neutral enough to blend well with other furniture. We chose the cherry finish which is really lovely, The ratings provided by other shoppers were really helpful, and at several suggestions decided to also order the Memory foam mattress topper from this site.
Communication from the company was excellent as we planned for the arrival. My husband and I (both age 75) were able to easily assemble by following the video instructions which included unloading the freight parcel and moving it into the house. Allow 2+ hours start to finish. It’s a winner!

I’m so happy I chose Archic Furniture for my LuxCraft Adirondack Outdoor Poly Balcony Chair. I absolutely love it! The craftsmanship is beautiful, the chair feels exceptionally sturdy, and it’s so comfortable that it has quickly become my favorite place to sit and relax outside. The balcony height is perfect for enjoying the view, and it looks fantastic in my outdoor space. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Archic Furniture has definitely earned my five stars!
