Short answer: Archic's Murphy cabinet beds come in twin, full and queen. Most queen models are 63.5 to 64.1 inches wide and 23 to 26.4 inches deep when closed (the Sealy San Sebastian queen is wider and shallower), and open to 80.3 to 83.1 inches long. The narrowest is the Orion twin at 42.4 inches wide, the narrowest full is the Arason full at 58 inches, and the Arason Madrid full opens to just 76 inches. To check the fit, measure your wall width and the floor length out from the wall, plus walking room.

The Orion comes in twin or full. The twin is 42.4 inches wide and the full is 59.7 inches wide; both are 20.5 inches deep and 36 inches high closed, and both open to 76.5 inches. The Complete Set includes a 4-inch tri-fold gel memory foam mattress; Cabinet Only has none.
The Siesta Desk Bed is a standing-height desk with bookshelves that converts into a twin bed. Note: closed it is 28.3 inches deep. Opened as a bed it is 77.3 inches long, close to a twin bed's length, so plan for 77.3 inches of floor length.

Its page says you may need to slide it a foot or two to open and close it, with felt pads or sliders on hard floors. The steps below are general guidance, not manufacturer specs.
- Wall width: measure the wall where the cabinet will sit. Closed widths run from 42.4 inches (Orion twin) to 69.3 inches (Sealy San Sebastian queen).
- Closed depth: how far the cabinet sticks out from the wall: 23 inches for most Arason models, 23.7 for the Night and Day credenzas, 26.4 for the Murphy Cube, 20.5 for the Orion and 19.7 for the Sealy San Sebastian.
- Open length: measure straight out from that wall and compare with the listed open length, from 76 inches (Madrid full) to 83.1 inches (Night and Day credenzas).
- Walking room: leave space to walk past the foot and at least one side of the open bed, and to reach doors, drawers and outlets. Marking the open outline with painter's tape helps.
