The traditional design of Old World is inspired primarily by classic European styles of antiquity. Clearly influenced by the later Renaissance period, which featured enrichment of ornament and outline, Old World reflects the elaborate details of the French and English translation of this significant architectural movement. As Roman design standards like columns and pilasters were applied to furniture, a full complement of bases, cornices and pediments emerged, transforming cabinets, dressers and other case pieces into scaled-down architectural compositions.
With its imposing dimensions and spectacular European detailing the Old World China Cabinet Set offers both beauty and function. The curves of the serpentine front of the hutch and the arched and scrolled bonnet give the piece a sense of movement and showcase its high level of craftsmanship. The top features four carved etched glass doors faced with dramatic curved designs and 3/8" glass shelves behind, illuminated by three interior halogen lights. An added plus: the fully housed bonnet construction means that the piece is fully finished from every angle, making it especially appropriate for open spaces where it will be viewed from above.

Warranty
Subject to the limitations and exclusions described herein, the Company warrants its products to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a term of one (1) year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser (dealer). Finish Information: The Company’s products are offered in a variety of finishes. Each piece is finished by hand and involves a variety of steps. While we strive to replicate each finish to a standard, each piece will be truly unique due to the individual attention each order receives. This is a result of the varying application techniques that are hand crafted. Other variations in wood such as species, grain and color have their own impact of the final look of your finished frame. Because the finishing process is completed on demand, it is preferable to finish at the same time to match a finish between pieces. Striping or accenting is available on certain items. This is a very labor-intensive manual process and the look will vary from piece to piece.
