The back frame of these striking chairs are decorated with lamb's tongue carving on front and back, complementing the frame carving on all case pieces. The scroll and shell motif found within the bonnets and crowns throughout the collection are carved into the head rail of the chairs. The padded arms are covered in top grain leather for a luxurious look and feel. The seats are shaped and tailored for comfort and elegance. The carved cabriole legs match the legs of the dining table with the coordination of motifs throughout the dining room making these chairs a perfect choice for either dining table. The finish is a rich and warm pomegranate shade that has both depth and clarity which allows the natural beauty of the wood graining to shine through. Burnished edges, hand rubbed fronts and machine rubbed tops provide a satiny glow that enriches the Old World feel of this collection.

The bed is solid, well made and had no defects or blemishes. Delivery was quick, on time and the packaging was excellent. It was one of the easiest assemblies we have ever experienced. My husband was especially impressed with how clear the instructions were and the quality of the craftsmanship. We also liked that there were videos on the website that helped explain how to open up and put away the bed itself. The entire process was seamless. We have not slept in the bed yet - our first test will be when our son and daughter-in-law visit in a few weeks, however just lying on the bed it seems very comfortable.
