An L shaped reception desk, or L shaped receptionist desk, adds a return to the main counter for extra work surface. This collection has four L-shape desks from Reception Counter Solutions. Only two are listed as white: the Onix Reception Counter (L Shape) (clean white finish) and the White L Shape Memphis Reception Desk (white in its name, with gray-washed distressed wood slats). The Newport is not listed as white, and the Monterey page does not list a color. For other shapes and colors, see all reception desks.

What to know before you choose

  • White options. The Onix (L Shape) uses high-pressure laminate, so it wipes clean. The White L Shape Memphis is distressed wood and hot-rolled steel, a rustic look rather than a plain white laminate one. For white laminate only, see white laminate reception desks.
  • Accessibility. The Onix (L Shape) has an ADA-compliant lowered section and the Newport lists ADA-compliant functionality. Check your local code. See wheelchair accessible reception desks.
  • Privacy. The Newport and White L Shape Memphis pages say the layout or riser adds privacy up front.
  • Colors. The Newport comes in Sand Wash, Kodiak, Tiger Wood and Scorched Oak. Colors for the Monterey are not published.

It’s a winner!

After shopping in furniture stores and online searches for a Murphy cabinet bed, I happened upon this one. The dimensions fit our space and the style is neutral enough to blend well with other furniture. We chose the cherry finish which is really lovely, The ratings provided by other shoppers were really helpful, and at several suggestions decided to also order the Memory foam mattress topper from this site.
Communication from the company was excellent as we planned for the arrival. My husband and I (both age 75) were able to easily assemble by following the video instructions which included unloading the freight parcel and moving it into the house. Allow 2+ hours start to finish. It’s a winner!

The Halifax medium cabinet works so well as our pantry. It is a solid beautiful piece, the glass doors adding to the country charm I was looking for. I am very happy with this purchase, the cabinet was also delivered in perfect condition. Thank you, CW Gold Coast

Thanks for the beautiful chairs which are perfect for my verandah. It was a long wait but worth it and you kept me informed about the shipment delay the whole time. Great delivery man as well!!

Love the glass top doors to show off my china and the bottom solid part of the door to hide the things I don’t need to have seen.

I love that this is basically assembly free. All we had to do was attach the top to the base. Took less than a few minutes. It is very nice quality. The drawers and doors work well. It is very heavy so it took some heavy lifting. Completes the room beautifully!

Hannah

Love the size and look of the buffet, it is sturdy and holds a lot of stuff.
