Tempered Glass CharacteristicDue to the manufacturing process, glass will tend to have a greenish tint, this is a natural feature and is not considered a defect. As a result of the tempering process or otherwise, color variations in glass may occur in certain products.
Stone CharacteristicsColor and Pattern Variations in stone are a natural occurrence. Natural occurring stone characteristics such as variations in grain, color, mineral streaks are not considered as defective product.
Finish and Wood CharacteristicsAll wood naturally ages, darkens, changes color and mellows over time due primarily to exposure to light. While this color change is imperceptible from day to day it may be significant over a longer period of time, or due to amount of light the wood is exposed to. On warranty replacement doors or drawers, we will not guarantee an exact color match. Also, imperfections such as checks (small surface splits), pitch pockets (small dark holes) or darker mineral streaks are natural and are not considered defects.

Product Care & Maintenance

Bathtubs

When it comes to cleaning a bathtub made of acrylic material, there is a right way and a wrong way. Using the proper cleaning supplies and non-abrasive cloths will keep your tub looking new for a long time. However, if you use caustic cleaners or scratchy materials, you could do permanent damage. The simplest way is to just wet a soft cloth or sponge with antibacterial dish soap and use it to scrub the entire tub. Rinse the tub to completely remove the dirt and soap. You can use a mild antibacterial soap that you'd use for hand washing your dishes. This is gentle enough to regularly use on your acrylic tub.

  • Give it a quick rinse after each use.
  • Spray it down with a gentle cleanser each week.
  • Scrub the entire tub each month.
  • Remove stains as necessary.

Use These Non-abrasive Cleaners

We recommend that you clean your acrylic bathing with non-abrasive soaps and cleaners, such as:

  • Dishwashing detergent
  • Power Bathroom Cleaner
  • CLR® Bath & Kitchen® Cleaner
  • Formula 409® All-Purpose Cleaner
  • Iron Out® Rust Stain Remover

When it’s time to clean, always use a terry cloth towel, soft cloth or sponge to avoid scratching the acrylic surface. Don’t use abrasive scrubbing pads, steel wool or sponges; it will cause permanent damage to the acrylic material. If you use a drain cleaner or clog remover, be sure to rinse thoroughly with water so no product is left standing near the drain.

Some chemicals and cleaners may deteriorate acrylic surfaces, causing cracks and, potentially, property damage. To avoid this, don’t use cleaning products that state on their label that they are not suitable for use on Acrylic, ABS, Polystyrene or Plastic. Be sure to check the label of any product before you apply it to the surface; it’s easier to avoid damage than to try to remedy it.

Do Not Use These Cleaners

Chemicals we do not recommend using to clean acrylic showers/tubs:

  • Solvents (turpentine, lacquer thinner, mineral spirits, paint thinner, MEK, xylene, acetone, naphtha, etc.)
  • Simple Green® All-Purpose Cleaner
  • Pine-Sol® Original
  • Scrubbing Bubbles® Cleaner
  • Tilex® Bathroom Cleaner
  • The Works® Tub & Shower Cleaner
  • Lysol® with Hydrogen Peroxide Multi-Purpose Cleaner
  • Windex® Vinegar Multi-Surface Cleaner
  • DO NOT Clean Your Acrylic Bathtub with Paint Thinner, Goof OFF®, Scrubbing Bubbles®, Acetone, Lacquer Thinner, M.E.K. ® or other chemicals that attack the structural integrity of plastics (including, but not limited to, acetones
Faucets

To ensure the durability of the special finish - Oil Rubbed Bronze, Matte Black, Dark or Old Bronze, and Gold finish:

Special finishes:

  • Clean only with mild soap and water
  • Dry after each use
  • Coat faucet periodically with non-abrasive Carnauba wax
  • Do not clean with steel wool or hard paper
  • Do not use any abrasive chemical cleaner
  • Do not apply plumber putty which is abrasive to damage any surface coating

Warranty does not apply to special or living finishes such as Oil Rubbed Bronze, Dark or Old Bronze, Matte Black, and Gold as living finishes will change over time as a result of normal process and may look different than at the time of purchase, therefore these items are warranted for functionality only. These special finishes has components may vary in shade at the time of shipment. The warranty is limited to the replacement of defective parts only, labor cost and/or damage resulting from improper installation, repair or replacement, as well as incidental and consequential damages coned therewith are excluded. Any damage to this faucet as a result of misuse abuse, neglect, accident or improper installation or any use not consistent with the instructions furnished by us will void this warranty.

Mirrors

  • Your mirror will provide years of service and beauty by following these care and maintenance good practices.
  • The safest cleaner for a mirror is clean, warm water applied with a soft cloth. Be careful not to allow the edges of the mirror to remain wet over a period of time.
  • Do not use any acidic or alkali cleaners. They can attack the surface and edges as well as the backing of the mirror. Never use an abrasive cleaner on any mirror surface.
  • Do not use cleaners with heavy ammonia bases. These, too, can damage the mirror edges and backing and will result in a ruined mirror.
  • Never spray any cleaner directly on to a mirror. Instead, apply the cleaner to a soft cloth and then wipe the mirror. This will also prevent “puddling” at the mirror edge where the cleaner could attack the backing.
  • Always use soft, grit-free cloths when cleaning a mirror to reduce chances of scratching the surface.
  • Be sure to dry all joints and edges thoroughly to be certain no cleaner comes in contact with the edge and backing.

Keep your mirrors looking like new requires regular maintenance using the right products.

Glass

Though there are countless products on the market claiming to wipe streaks away, we recommend the most basic of options: kitchen-sink soap. The best way to clean your glasses is to run them under warm water and put a tiny drop of dishwashing detergent on the tip of your fingers to create lather on the lens. Then rinse with warm water, and dry with a clean, soft cotton cloth.

Tempered Glass

  • Start mixing dish soap with water and place it in a spray bottle.
  • Spray the mixture on the tempered glass surface.
  • Let it set for a few minutes to catch all the dirt on the glass.
  • Take a sponge and use it to remove the mixed cleaner.
  • Take a clean soft cloth and wipe the glass dry.
Counter Tops

Ceramic Tops

Daily Habits: After your morning beauty routine, take a few minutes to make sure everything goes back in its designated space—toothbrush in a cup, makeup back in the drawers, and hair tools hidden behind cabinets. A clear countertop makes it easier to wipe down the surface every day before you leave. This small but meaningful addition to your daily routine will make a big difference to the look of your bathroom.

Wipe Down: It's easy to get pulled into the many aisles of cleaning supplies at grocery stores. With the colorful options and promising claims to clean your bathroom best, it seems like a no-brainer. But, you can save a good deal of money by making your own cleaning agent with items you already have at home. Sure, it won't come in the same bright packaging, but it will work all the same. To make it, mix vinegar and water in a spray bottle. Spritz it on the counter and wipe down. It will keep the surface clean and shiny.

Regular Maintenance: First, wipe off the countertop with a commercially prepared tile cleaner, or make your own cleaner by combining 1 2/3 cup baking soda, 1/2 cup liquid soap, 1/2 cup water, 2 tablespoons of vinegar. This will remove the day-to-day dirt.

Genuine Stone Tops

Clean stone surfaces with a neutral cleaner, stone soap, or a mild liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water. Home cleansers can leave a residue on natural stone, and should always be rinsed well and dried to keep from having water spots. Frequent or over-use of an ammonia solution may eventually dull the surface of some stone types. Any abrasive or acidic cleaners should be avoided.

There are natural stone cleansers, sealers, polishes and protectants available on the market that are specifically for use on stone floors or countertops and can be found in any local hardware store. Many flooring companies offer steam services for natural stone areas as well.

Use a clean soft cloth on top surfaces and a clean rag mop on floors. In any case, when cleaning stone, it is always best to sweep or vacuum the area free of any dirt and debris before beginning. Any leftover debris can scratch the area when cleaning or drying.

Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with the soap solution and dry with a soft microfiber cloth. Change the rinse water frequently when cleaning.

Our stone tops are sealed & polished once manufactured. We recommend you seal & polish after installation and every 6 months to 1-year afterwards depending on use.

Marble Tops

Marble is a calcium-rich stone, porous and susceptible to expansion. When spills are left on a marble countertop, they seep into the pores. Over time, this leads to cracks. It's important to wipe up any spills immediately, then wipe the area with a little water and dry immediately. Never allow wet dishes, glasses or water to stand on a marble countertop for any length of time. Water will seep into the stone and leave a permanent ring to remind you where the water was. This is caused by a permanent change in the marble's composition and can only be removed by professional polishing. You'll need to select a cleaning solution that is made specifically for cleaning marble. Most regular household cleaners contain acid, which can damage the finish. Cleaners with citric acid must be avoided. Neutral cleaners, such as phosphate-free solutions or dishwashing liquids, will work in a pinch. The trick to using any cleaning agent on your countertop is to rinse the soap off immediately with warm water to avoid drying out the marble.

Engineered Quartz Tops

Engineered Quartz has been known as the material that is highly resistant to stains. That is due to its non-porous surface, which prevents liquids and spills from leaving a stain. However, when quartz is exposed to hard water, if that water is not wiped off, it can leave mineral deposits. We recommend to seal the surface every 3-6 months depends on usage. Here, we are bringing the 5 tips on how to remove water stains from your quartz countertops.

1. Use Steel Wood

If you have a mineral buildup from hard water, use steel wool to remove it. Use light handed circular motions for the whole countertops, even if they don’t have visible stains. Follow up with using a dry cloth to wipe off the loosened buildup.

2. Baking Soda

Another way to remove water stains is to mix the baking soda and water. Pour a bit of this home-made cleaner on the stain, then rub it in with kitchen sponge with circular motions. This method will help to remove stains from glasses and cooking.

3. Use Plastic Wrap

If the first two methods do not remove the stain, you can try this trick. Pour a bit of the baking soda-water mixture on the stain. Cover it with a plastic wrap and let it sit for a few hours. This will create the heat that will pull out the stain out of your quartz countertops.

4. Use a Specialized Cleaner

There are also quartz cleaning kits on the markets that are exactly created to remove the stains from hard water. They can be effective if none of the above methods helps.

5. Wipe the Spills and Glass Rings at the Earliest Opportunity

Distilled water will not leave a stain, because what leaves stain or quartz are actually minerals that water contain. If you want to prevent water stains, you can use distilled water when doing the routine cleaning. Another way to prevent the water stains is to wipe off the spills and glass rings with a dry cloth after each use.

Following these simple steps for removing the water stains will make your quartz countertops even more shiny and beautiful. Quartz is highly resistant to stains, but it is not stain-proof; the key to leaving your quartz countertops clean and without stains is to remove the spills as quickly as possible. If not, these tricks can help you to bring back its beauty.

Wood

Don't avoid dusting furniture. Frequent dusting removes airborne deposits that build up in a filmy layer and can scratch the surface. Clean, dry, soft cloths or feather dusters will effectively remove dust; however, to avoid scattering the dust into the air, where it floats until landing back on furniture surfaces, dampen the cloth very slightly. Never use all-purpose cleaning sprays unless your furniture has a plastic coating, such as the kind used on kitchen tables and children's furniture. You'll usually want to avoid cleaning wood with water. However, sticky spots may need to be treated with soap and water. Here's how: Dip the cloth in mild soap or detergent dissolved in water, wring the cloth nearly dry, and wipe the area. Rinse and immediately dry with a clean, soft cloth.
