Q15: What is the maximum power of AC500 when using the fusion box? A: The maximum power of the AC500 when using the fusion box depends on the connection method: 1) When connected with P030A: 7,200W 2) When directly connected to the distribution box: 10,000W Note: The split-phase function is only available for the US version.
Q16: Is there a UPS function when using the fusion box? A: No, the AC500 power station does not have a UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) function when using the fusion box. However, it does have EPS (Emergency Power Supply) capability.
Q17: What is the switching time of the UPS? A: The switching time of the UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) function of the AC500 power station is 20ms.
Q18: Can I use third-party solar panels to charge AC500? A: Yes, you can use third-party solar panels to charge the AC500 power station. The solar panels must meet the following conditions: 1) Total voltage: 12-150V 2) Total power: 3000W max. 3) Equipped with MC4 connectors
Q19: Can I use rooftop solar panels to charge AC500? A: Yes, you can use rooftop solar panels to charge the AC500 power station. However, please ensure that your solar panels meet the following requirements: 1) The solar panels should not have micro-inverters. 2) The open circuit voltage (OCV) should be within the range of 12-150V. 3) The solar panels should be equipped with MC4 connectors. Note: If the OCV exceeds 150V, you can use the BLUETTI D300S* to step down the voltage for solar charging.
Q20: Does AC500 support charging and discharging at the same time? A: Yes, the AC500 power station supports simultaneous charging and discharging.
Q21: How long will AC500 run my device? A: The running time of the AC500 power station for a specific device can be calculated using the following formula: Running time = battery capacity x DoD x η ÷ device rated power Where DoD refers to Depth of Discharge and η is the local inverter efficiency. For the AC500, both DoD and η are assumed to be 90%. As an example, if you run a 1,000W microwave oven with an AC500 + B300S combination, the running time will be approximately: 3,072Wh x 90% x 90% ÷ 1,000W ≈ 2.5 hours Please note: 1) This formula is not suitable for inductive loads with compressors, such as refrigerators or air conditioners. 2) The provided data is for reference only.
Q22: Is AC500 waterproof? A: No, the AC500 power station is not waterproof. It should be kept in a dry place to prevent water damage.
