How long does it take to convert from desk to bed?
Under a minute once assembled. It is a single fold-down motion, and you do not need to clear the desktop first or move the unit away from the wall.
Does it need to be attached to the wall?
No. The Artisan is completely freestanding. Nothing is mounted to your wall or floor, which makes it a good fit for renters and for rooms you may rearrange later.
What size mattress do I need, and is one included?
A standard twin mattress, 6" thick or less. A mattress is not included with this listing. A low-profile foam or tri-fold twin mattress works best, since it needs to fold and strap inside the unit.
Does the desk really have power built in?
Yes. The desk includes a built-in power socket and USB charging module, so your laptop, phone, and monitor plug straight into the desk.
How big is the desktop?
Roughly 24" deep by 76" wide, at a standard 30.2" desk height. That is enough for a dual-monitor setup with room left over.
How hard is assembly?
Assembly is required and it ships in three boxes. Plan on two people. Step-by-step instructions are included, and the unit is leveled at the end using the included screw glides.
Do I have to take the bedding off every time?
No. Mattress straps hold the mattress and bedding in place while the bed folds away.

RMA number required, all items must be received by us in original, re-sellable condition and a 15% restocking fee will be applied. Return freight is the responsibility of the customer. Replacement parts for items received defective will be provided free of charge but the freight for large parts will be the responsiblity of the customer. Replacement parts for any other reason such as freight damage must be purchased if available or an entirely new product may need to be ordered.
