Great bed… but where are our PILLOWS?!

Bed seems great. It’s the company I’m wondering about. We have yet to use the bed, and I’ve reached out multiple times to inquire about the pillows that we should have received weeks ago, without any response.
Their automated texts are great, until you text and need an actual response. Not sure I’d buy from them again!

Seems good so far

Definitely easier than other furniture Ive assembled, only some confusion getting the lid to sit flush on top but eventually figured it out. A few scratches from delivery on the inside of the unit but overall a great piece.

I haven’t fully tested it out with a guest, but it seems sturdy and comfy with a foam mattress. I really love that it folds up nicely so we can reclaim our room. Overall it seems nice quality, and I think our guest will be comfortable.

Exceeded expectations

We couldn’t be happier with our new Murphy cabinet bed. The cherry wood is much nicer than we anticipated, assembly was fairly easy, and the mattress is much more comfortable than we expected. The only disappointment was that we were promised two free pillows with our order, which we never received.

A beautiful Murphy bed

I recently moved into a tiny studio in an old building, so I decided to order this Murphy bed to save space. Once my old bed was inside, there was barely any room left for other furniture, as you can see from the photo.
This bed is beautiful, high quality, and very easy to open and close. The mattress is also much more comfortable than I expected. I paid extra for delivery and assembly, and it was absolutely worth it. Since I live alone, even if I had asked someone to help me, it probably would have taken us an entire day to put it together. The package was also extremely heavy and barely fit into my building’s old elevator, so I honestly have no idea how I would have managed it myself without help.
Thankfully, two wonderful men from the Archic company brought everything in, unpacked it, and completed the assembly in about 30 minutes since part of it was already pre-assembled. They even took all the packaging and garbage with them afterward. They were professional, kind, and lovely to work with.
I’m extremely happy with the final product and highly recommend this bed to anyone living in a studio apartment. It fits beautifully into the space and offers a lot of storage as well.

Assembly from the shipping box takes 30 or 40 minutes for 2 people. Opening it up for guests takes 30 seconds for 1 person. The bed is very comfortable.
In our TV/ Entertainment room it is now the TV stand for our 55" tv! This model of Murphy bed, the tv gets to stay on top.

We bought this Murphy bed for our spare bedroom on Sunday and it was delivered on Wednesday. The company called right after ordering to confirm order and make sure I understood shipping. It is well made - wood not pressboard. Instructions are easy to understand and it took my husband and I less than an hour to unpack, take the pieces to the second floor, and put together. This will be a great addition to our guest bedroom without taking up too much extra space. The only issue we have is that someone put the stickers noting the back of the top piece on incorrectly and we need to figure out how to remove without messing up the stain.

Really love this bed. I have to start by praising the packaging — it was so thoroughly wrapped and protected that it would have been nearly impossible to damage during shipping. Absolutely beautiful piece. Assembly wasn't too bad, though I found the instructional video a bit misleading: while it's nice that it shows two women putting it together, the bed is seriously heavy! I personally didn't have the strength to be much help to my husband during setup, and we ended up needing his sister to step in. That said, it's solid wood, so the weight makes sense. The assembly process itself is straightforward, and once it's all together, making the bed is a breeze. Like several other reviewers, I paired it with a thick foam mattress topper (around 1 3/4"), and our guests have raved about how comfortable it is. It looks great and fits perfectly in our small guest room, making the space so much more functional.
