FAQs

A queen Murphy bed cabinet is built around a solid hardwood frame with a flip-top or fold-out platform rated for 500 pounds. Most models in this collection ship with a tri-fold gel memory foam mattress sized to fit inside the closed cabinet, and Arason chests add USB ports and a 6-foot power cord.

A queen cabinet bed in this range typically measures around 41 inches high by 83 inches wide by 64 inches deep when closed, taking up about 10 square feet of floor space. When opened, the bed extends to the standard queen sleeping surface of 60 by 80 inches.

A queen-size cabinet Murphy bed suits guest rooms, studio apartments, condos, finished basements, multi-use spaces, and primary bedrooms where freeing daytime floor space matters. The cabinet stays freestanding, so it works for renters and for rooms that get reconfigured between hosting guests and daily living.

Yes. Sheets, blankets, and a comforter can stay on the tri-fold mattress on most queen Murphy bed cabinet models, including the Cube, Sagebrush, Daisy, and Arason Creden-ZzZ chests. The closed cabinet has enough internal clearance to accommodate fitted bedding without removing it between uses.

Across the queen cabinet bed range, finish options include Cottage White, Brushed White, Cherry, Coffee Espresso, Stonewash, Black Walnut, Buttercream, Brushed Driftwood, and Blizzard. Specific finishes vary by model, so the Daisy is offered in three colours, while the Madrid runs in Brushed White only.

It’s a winner!

After shopping in furniture stores and online searches for a Murphy cabinet bed, I happened upon this one. The dimensions fit our space and the style is neutral enough to blend well with other furniture. We chose the cherry finish which is really lovely, The ratings provided by other shoppers were really helpful, and at several suggestions decided to also order the Memory foam mattress topper from this site.
Communication from the company was excellent as we planned for the arrival. My husband and I (both age 75) were able to easily assemble by following the video instructions which included unloading the freight parcel and moving it into the house. Allow 2+ hours start to finish. It’s a winner!

The Halifax medium cabinet works so well as our pantry. It is a solid beautiful piece, the glass doors adding to the country charm I was looking for. I am very happy with this purchase, the cabinet was also delivered in perfect condition. Thank you, CW Gold Coast

Thanks for the beautiful chairs which are perfect for my verandah. It was a long wait but worth it and you kept me informed about the shipment delay the whole time. Great delivery man as well!!

Love the glass top doors to show off my china and the bottom solid part of the door to hide the things I don’t need to have seen.

I love that this is basically assembly free. All we had to do was attach the top to the base. Took less than a few minutes. It is very nice quality. The drawers and doors work well. It is very heavy so it took some heavy lifting. Completes the room beautifully!

Hannah

Love the size and look of the buffet, it is sturdy and holds a lot of stuff.
