What to know before you choose

  • Depth and height. The Memphis With Dallas Slats page lists 42 inches tall and 30 inches deep. The Quad Tech and Remedy pages do not list them.
  • Shipping size. The Quad Tech and Remedy pages say the desk ships flat-packed in a crate, and the Memphis pages describe foldable components. Check the width of your entryway before you order.
  • Modern or rustic. The Quad Tech Class 1 is gloss white laminate. The Memphis desks are distressed wood and steel.
  • Retail use. The Santa Cruz Sales Counter is described as a sales counter that doubles as a reception desk, in 6' and 8'.

Night and Day Furniture Queen Murphy Cabinet Bed Cube

It’s a winner!

After shopping in furniture stores and online searches for a Murphy cabinet bed, I happened upon this one. The dimensions fit our space and the style is neutral enough to blend well with other furniture. We chose the cherry finish which is really lovely, The ratings provided by other shoppers were really helpful, and at several suggestions decided to also order the Memory foam mattress topper from this site.
Communication from the company was excellent as we planned for the arrival. My husband and I (both age 75) were able to easily assemble by following the video instructions which included unloading the freight parcel and moving it into the house. Allow 2+ hours start to finish. It’s a winner!

I love that this is basically assembly free. All we had to do was attach the top to the base. Took less than a few minutes. It is very nice quality. The drawers and doors work well. It is very heavy so it took some heavy lifting. Completes the room beautifully!
